SOS LOST & FOUND Have you lost something? Find it with hypnosis
The secret applications of hypnosis
Among the various practical advantages ofhypnosis there is also LOST & FOUND service
Our unconscious can function as a real “Lost & Found” desk and help us find that thing we lost
Regardless of whether an item has been missing for years or recently, hypnosis can help you find it, as long as it was lost in a place where it would not be found and removed by someone else or stolen.
Our subconscious, like a movie camera, keeps track of all movements and the succession of actions, so accessing its information through hypnosis can also be effective for finding lost objects.
Our subconscious record every moment of our life
The principle is the same that operates in the practice of regressive hypnosis: if our cognitive mind has forgotten, our unconscious has recorded every single moment, just like in a film. The rational mind generally creates "trailers", that is, we only remember the key moments of a situation.
To draw on unconscious mnemonic resources, the idea is to bring the subject back to revisiting the moments that preceded the forgetting. Step by step he is brought back to relive, through the use of different possible hypnotic techniques, the different steps in sequence until the lost object is found.
How many times have we wasted time in vain, with superhuman efforts, trying to remember where, without getting anywhere? Perhaps we can also consider this unusual possibility of discovery: the unconscious is a formidable mnemonic box and can be put at the service of daily utilities like this. Where did I put the keys? Where did I park the car? What happened to that sweater that grandma gave me last year?
It doesn't matter how much time has passed, for our unconscious time does not exist, everything is an "infinite now". We discover unconventional applications: here the practices of hypnosis and self-hypnosis can be used not only to help the person draw on those resources that can be useful in the present for his improvement and his evolution, but also for ordinary common practical purposes. like finding your cell phone.
Two very advanced categories
Some technical methodologies are very advanced and operate especially in those cases in which one finds oneself faced with complete oblivion, other techniques are within the reach of even beginners.
We can divide them into two large categories: hot and cold.
The first, the hot ones, are more demanding, they are techniques that require a deeper hypnotic trance and the use of advanced tools such as for example the Mesmerism (Animal Magnetism) or Fascination (Hypnosis with the power of the gaze) while the second cold ones allow you to draw on the unconscious mnemonic heritage without entering the deep hypnotic state.
In both cases the underlying principles are always the same:
- State of relaxation
- Empty linear logical and rational mind
- To guide the unconscious to find the lost object
Walk-through: body regression
One of the most interesting applications is certainly the one that exploits the strength of animal magnetism or mesmerism. In this case we draw on the memory of the body, a sort of "body regression".
The person is brought into a magnetic state by mesmerizing to the point of suggesting that the body move towards the lost object, what is called a "walk-through" in which you cross, for example, all the rooms of the house, following the suggestion that once in the right room, you will automatically go to the place where you last saw the object and remember where it was placed. The body's memory supports that of the mind, allowing the unconscious memory to become conscious and therefore finally to remember. “Here it is!”
The classic hypnotic approach, through the appeal to the 5 senses, guides the person to revisit the moments before the loss of the object, when he was still in possession of it, up until the moment in which it was placed in that forgotten place.
This could be something we need immediately, like a pair of glasses, a purse or house keys, or even something precious that we care a lot about, a jewel, a souvenir photo.
When we lose things that are important to us, anxiety sets in, especially if we are deeply attached to the object, such as perhaps a dear family memory. There may be guilt and other emotions, so the hypnotist's first step is to relieve the emotional overlay that may be block the recall.
Time line
Subsequently, through hypnotic regression, you are brought back to the day in which you lost track of the object, carrying out a mental review of where you were and what you did during the day.
This is a "specific" hypnotic regressiion that is, we ask the subconscious part to visit exactly the moment we want on the subject's time line.
Regressive hypnosis can be spontaneous, i.e. letting the unconscious choose the moment to remember, or it can be specific, then your unconscious mind is guided to relive exactly that moment. It's the classic paradoxical case of when we hide objects so well that we even forget about them ourselves!
5-step investigative hypnotic practice
If you are getting crazy but just can't find that lost object, try this simple exercise.
1 Step. Go to where you lost the item.
Step 2. Take a break. Close your eyes and relax, stop doing whatever you are doing
Step 3.Imagine looking at a black screen.
Step 4.Imagine looking at the movie of your day, frame after frame, since the beginning when you wake up, on the screen flows every instant, until you find the object.
Step 5. Open your eyes and check
Using hypnosis to find lost objects is not a scientific practice and therefore not completely reliable, yet it may be worth trying as an alternative "investigative practice" without any contraindications.
